Education Scholarships

The Katherine Watson Teacher Resource Scholarship provides financial assistance to educators seeking additional funding for classroom projects, instructional materials, student enrichment activities, or other initiatives that enhance students' learning experience.

Applicants must be currently employed as educators and submit a detailed description of the proposed project, including its purpose, expected impact on students, and a budget outlining anticipated expenses. Scholarship recipients will be required to provide receipts and supporting documentation demonstrating how the funds were used. Preference will be given to projects that directly benefit students and promote meaningful educational outcomes.

The Katherine Watson Lifelong Learning Scholarship provides financial assistance to adult learners returning to school to pursue a degree, certification, vocational training, or other educational opportunities. Applicants must have been out of school for at least one year prior to applying and demonstrate a commitment to furthering their education and personal or professional growth.

Applicants are required to submit a brief statement describing their educational goals, how the scholarship will support their journey, and the impact completing their program will have on their future. Preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate determination, perseverance, and a desire to create positive change through education.
